Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer for the Davenport Northwest Little League!
The league runs entirely on volunteers, and relies on dedicated parents like you for its success!

Once you know your interest, please use the form at the bottom of this page to apply for a volunteer position.

*NOTE: If your child/children play in a different division from what you wish to volunteer for, make sure you click the "Show All Volunteer Opportunities" button in the lower right of the screen.  If you are purely a volunteer with no child in the league, you should see all options for all divisions.*
Example: If your child plays in Majors division, but you want to volunteer for a position in the Minors Division, click the button to show all opportunities.  The volunteer form assumes you wish to volunteer in the same division as your child/children and therefore defaults the volunteer opportunities to that. 

If you accidentally sign up to volunteer for the incorrect division, please contact the Board Information Officer using the board contact information link above.

  • $30/game for Coach Pitch (field umpire only)
  • $35/game for Minors and Majors (field umpire)
  • $40/game for Minors and Majors (plate umpire)
  • $40/game for Juniors (field umpire)
  • $50/game for Juniors (plate umpire)

Mandatory Abuse Awareness Training

To comply with Little League International requirements, ALL VOLUNTEERS (not just coaches), need to complete the mandatory Abuse Awareness Training program. This training takes ~30 minutes to complete. You can access the training from the following link, scroll down, and go to the training portal to log in/create an account etc.

Once you are in the portal and have completed the training, follow these next steps:

1. Save the certificate of completion from the training as .jpg or .png file format
2. Log into your NWLL Account
3. Click "My Account" in the upper right
4. Click "Volunteer" from the left menu bar
5. Click the pencil icon next to your name to edit your volunteer application
6. Scroll down to the bottom of the application and click the "+" icon next to "Training Certifications (First Aid, CPR, Concussion, Abuse Awareness)"
7. Upload your certificate of completion.
8. Click "Save" in the bottom right of the volunteer application.

You must have this completed before the season starts, or you will not be allowed to volunteer.
