What league is my player eligible to play in?
Use the League Finder to identify your league based on address.
Review the boundary map.
Your physical address must be within the geographic boundary.
OR
If your physical address is not in the geographic boundary, then the player must go to school within the geographic boundary.

What does it cost to play?
League registration fees vary year to year, although we do make every effort to keep our registration fees affordable and consistent. Subsequent players registered are at a $10 discount. The league provides a jersey and hat. Solid white pants (no stripes or piping) must be purchased by the player. The league does not provide cleats, bats, helmets, bags, gloves or other gear; these must be purchased by the player. The exception is for catchers, catcher gear is provided by the league along with catcher mitts, although you may choose to purchase this yourself as well.

What bats are approved for use in Davenport NWLL?
Only USA Baseball labeled bats are approved in our league.
All other bats will not be allowed. Please verify your bats contain the USA Baseball logo.
DO NOT PURCHASE BATS WITH "USSSA" ON THEM. THESE ARE TRAVEL BALL BATS, NOT LITTLE LEAGUE APPROVED BATS.

We recommend also not buying USA Baseball bats that have wording such as: "Tee-ball" or "For use with approved tee-balls only."

You will see on the National Little League site that tee-ball bats can be used in the "Minors - Coach Pitch Division" only with the use of approved tee-balls. Our league DOES NOT USE tee-balls in any division other than tee-ball. Our league uses actual Little League balls as soon as players progress to the "Minors - Coach Pitch Division" which are not for use with a tee-ball bat.

USA Baseball bats not marked as tee-ball can still be used in tee-ball, but tee-ball marked bats can not be used after tee-ball.
To ensure the bat you purchase will be useable by your player for multiple years, we discourage buying tee-ball marked bats.

Is the league co-ed?
Yes.

Why do I register before player evaluations?
Players register prior to evaluations because all players will make a team. Evaluations ARE NOT used as a means to cut or exclude players. Player Evaluations are hosted to provide coaches an opportunity to evaluate player skill. This evaluation creates a more equitable and fair draft process by enabling coaches to draft more evenly matched teams.
